1.1 Yuuji Shopping Ltd operates an e-commerce platform consisting of a website, together with supporting logistics and payment infrastructure, for the sale and purchase of consumer products in Kenya.
1.2 Our terms and conditions shall apply to buyers and sellers on the platform and shall govern your use of the website and related services.
1.3 By using our platform, you accept these general terms and conditions in totality. In case you disagree with all or any part of them; you must not use our platform.
2. Account Registration
2.1 You must be 18 years of age and above to register on our platform.
2.2 You can only register for an account by completing and submitting the registration form on our website.
2.3 You warrant that all information provided in the registration form is complete and accurate.
2.4 If you register for an account with us, you will be asked to provide an email address user ID and password and you agree to
2.4.1 Keep your password secret and confidential
2.4.2 Notify us in writing immediately at email@example.com if you become aware of any accidental disclosure of your password
2.4.3 Be responsible for any activity on our platform arising out of failure to keep your password confidential and that you are liable for any losss arising out of such a failure.
2.5 Your account shall be used exclusively by you and shall not be transferable to any third party.
2.6 We may suspend or cancel your account if we believe you have breached any
of our terms and conditions.
2.7 A vendor is free to cancel his or her account anytime he or she wishes.
3.1 Our platform provides an online platform for sellers to sell and buyers to purchase products, whereby we shall accept binding sales, on behalf of sellers.
3.2 An undertaking for the sale and purchase of a product or products will come into force between the buyer and seller, and accordingly you commit to buying or selling the relevant products, upon the buyer’s confirmation of purchase via our platform.
3.3 The following provisions will be incorporated into the contract of sale and purchase between the buyer and the seller but subject to our terms and conditions.
3.3.1 The price for a product will be as stated in the relevant product listing
3.3.2 Price for the product must be inclusive of all taxes and comply with applicable laws in force.
3.3.3 Packaging charges, handling charges, delivery charges, administrative charges, insurance costs, other ancillary costs and charges if any will only be payable by the buyer if this is clearly stated in the product listing
3.3.4 Products must be genuine and new only. Any breach of this by selling counterfeit, fake and low quality products will lead to instant account suspension.
4.1 We will collect payments on behalf of sellers on our platform.
4.2 We will deduct our 7% commission on all sales via our platform.
4.3 We will pay our vendors twice a month on 15th and 30th of every month after sale of their products through our platform after deducting our commission.
4.4 Vendors to furnish us with their right payment channels for prompt and sure payment of their funds.
5. Returns and refunds
5.1 Returns can only be initiated by a buyer if he or she receives a wrong, damaged, defective or counterfeit item/s.
5.2 Returned products shall have their original receipt attached
5.3 If a buyer so wishes to return a product due to the above mentioned reasons he should also return any attached gift/s if any otherwise the return will be not be accepted.
5.4 Returns of products by buyers and acceptance of returned products by sellers shall be managed by us in accordance with our return policy.
5.5 Returned product/s will be tested thoroughly to confirm the buyers concern before refund process is initiated.
5.5 Returned products shall be accepted and a refund issued by Yuuji, for and on behalf of the seller if the buyers complain is confirmed to be true. Then the product will be resend to the vendor.
NB: To be a Vendor on Yuuji Shopping, you must sell new and genuine products only.
